Song of Angels

Song of Angels by Walter Hilton addresses the question of how one can know a true mystical experience as opposed to a false one or one from the evil one. Hilton explains what conditions must be present in one's life and inner soul in order to recognize the true voice of the angels. One can achieve a state of clarity and charity to not only hear the angels but to also experience the song of angels in all things around him through the love of God. Hilton lived in the 14th century.
