History of the Reformation of Religion in Scotland

by John Knox

Summary

History of the Reformation of Religion in Scotland (1905) by John Knox has been revised and edited by Cuthbert Lennox. Knox states that he had in mind that future generations would benefit from this account of God's truth breaking through the darkness. That by remembering how the reformation impacted mankind, God can be praised and glorified. Knox breaks the history into blocks of time starting in 1422 and ending in 1564. He explains what happened during each particular era and thereby stacks the"four books" as he calls them in an orderly inter-related account of the Reformation.
