The Easter Bunny and other secular/pagan Easter practices

Just who is this Easter Bunny? Where did he come from? How did he get into Christ's resurrection? Should Christian's participate? What other secular/pagan Easter practices are in Christ's Resurrection? For discussions on the Resurrection of Christ then please use the Passover thread.

Mike,
Mike,
That's good that you mention . . . or is it?
I am discerning something here . . .
This reveals only your attitude toward HIS Church. So, not so good.
I know you are not taking a jab at the Church here . . . correct?
There is no mention of the Easter Bunny in the Catholic Faith . . . certainly not as any part of the Faith . . . so . . . that's you again . . . bringing that in.
As regards Easter, Catholics Celebrate the Resurrection of JESUS from the Grave, HIS Triumph and Victory over Death and hell.
I was just pointing out that the Catholic Church and Faith is not opposed to what it finds in Nature or in a Culture . . . not destroying what is good or salvageable . . . but taking it and re-directing it back to the LORD . . . if at all possible . . . so that a 'false' worship of the 'sun' becomes the Very Real Worship of the 'SON'.
GOD has brought us back all the way from the brink of eternal condemnation . . . by 'Christianizing' us . . . but not destroying us in the process . . . rather Saving us.
GOD Bless us all.
